The Project Management Lead (PML) is responsible for assisting with sales and key projects. This includes routing and tracking incoming sales leads, accurately entering and maintaining information in our CRM database, ordering hardware, drafting proposals and change orders, processing incoming purchase orders, assisting with project staffing, helping schedule and facilitate internal and external meetings, tracking project tasks and financials, and assisting with client and partner relationship management. Support the Business and Product Development Manager in developing new business and supporting Enterprise Engineering initiatives using project management best practices.
This includes updating and maintaining tasks in the internal project management tool, scheduling meetings, gathering and consolidating information from various teams and tools.
Keeping in close contact with key project members, decision makers, and stakeholders and be able to effectively communicate the needs and status of the project Attend project meetings and capture minutes on risks, status, next steps, and action items, update Programs Risk and Issue Tracker and Task Tool with outputs from meetings Support internal communications with key project stakeholders to provide clarity on status, next steps, and action items Create, maintain and publish program status reports Support project artifact lifecycle management from template creation, to documentation execution and dissemination Collaborate frequently and closely with the team to ensure program activities and project tasks are executed on time Support the creation and management of capacity and resource management data sets to support Program-level forecasting and planning capabilities
• Route and track incoming sales leads
• Accurately enter and maintain information in CRM (Salesforce)
• Coordinate associated sales paperwork and documentation (proposals, NDAs, terms and conditions, POs)
• Coordinate and conduct basic sales training
• Facilitate hardware ordering, tracking, and billing
• Assist with tracking project tasks and financials
• Run project meetings and ensure participants set their availability properly
• Schedule and take notes for meetings (wrap-up, kick-off, Scrums, status calls/meetings)
Business Development Support
• Work with Project Leads and Contributors to develop partnership including existing and target account planning and execution
• Plan and coordinate customer and vendor events
• Facilitate customer feedback initiatives
Bachelors degree required (Technical, Engineering or a related field preferred)
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in an administrative capacity preferably in a high-volume manufacturing
environment, with at least 3-years’ experience in full lifecycle project management (Agile)
Familiarity with project management software tools and methodologies.
PMP Project Management Professional Certification preferred, but not required
Experience with sales support, project support, or business development support a plus
Automotive OEM or Tier 1 Supplier experience a plus.
Knowledge of battery products, (specifically Lithium Ion Batteries), would be extremely helpful but is not necessary.
Ability to quickly obtain a working knowledge of lithium-ion batteries.
Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, OneNote, SharePoint).
Independent, driven, eager to learn, has strong time management skills, and the ability to manage simultaneous and often changing priorities
General data entry skills or related experience
Ability to follow specific direction and also to work independently in a fast-paced atmosphere
Background work in tech or engineering organizations, preferably within an enterprise infrastructure domain
Experience with contributing to the creation of reports, dashboards, and presentations
Experience in information gathering, tracking, and consolidation
Effectively coordinates schedules and meetings using tools such as Outlook, Google Calendar, Office 365, etc.
Outstanding oral & written communication skills and ability to articulate complex information in a simple way
Works well in a highly collaborative fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams
Proficiency with conferencing systems (Microsoft Teams)
