Sales Director/National Accounts Manager
The selected individual will be responsible for the development and overall growth of revenue & market share within a multi-state territory. In addition to direct sales calls on assigned OEMs, specifying engineers, and end user accounts this individual will work with manufacturer’s representatives, value added resellers and distributors as the territory channel requirements dictate.

Job Overview My client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Professional to join the team and drive our sales efforts to new heights. This position will be responsible for developing and executing national multi-channel sales plans aimed at increasing market penetration for our brands. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded sales professional with extensive experience across various industries and a strong understanding of marketing activities, digital marketing, content creation, event planning, and market analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement national sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share expansion.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities across multiple sales channels.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and key industry partners.
Work closely with the marketing team to support digital marketing initiatives, content creation, and brand development.
Conduct market research and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Organize and participate in trade shows, industry events, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
Monitor competitor activities and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to management.
Meet or exceed reasonable and attainable sales goals: As set by the company for the region.
Being organized and detail oriented are key to success. You will have to create your own quotes and manage your sales funnel using a CRM tool.

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field preferred.
10-15 years of sales experience, within the Battery industry and in a multi-channel environment.
Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in digital marketing, content creation, and market analysis.
Experience in event planning and execution.
Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to develop strategic initiatives.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel as needed.
