The Critical Power Operations Manager leads the Critical Power service organization. This role provides strategic and tactical direction to improve operational efficiencies to maximize productivity and profitability. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service through efficient processes while maintaining technician morale. Key Job Responsibilities:
Demonstrate and require all employees to follow safety standards set by the company, government agencies, and/or our customers.
Champion Field Safety to achieve ZERO SAFETY INCIDENTS.
Lead service departments in a manner that maximizes productivity.
In concert with the Leadership Team, contribute to business plans, set goals, and execute action plans to achieve operational goals.
Define expectations and manage performance of Service Managers, Critical Power Technicians, and other critical power employees.
Oversee service activities and scheduling across multiple offices to maximize technician utilization and efficiency.
Participate in project postmortem analyses. Implement Lessons Learned as applicable.
Participate in the qualification and selection of Labor Subcontractors.
Audit Labor Subcontractors to ensure quality and adherence to contracts and policies and procedures.
Participate as a member of the Critical Power Leadership Team.
Provide market feedback to the Critical Power Leadership Team to help position Concentric as an industry leader.
Effectively manage operating expenses within company guidelines.
Recruit for top team member talent.
Continually improve technician training protocols.
Work with sales team members for joint sales calls and coaching opportunities.
As needed, perform site walks for sales quoting and pre/post job qualifications.
Manage to Key Performance Indicators on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Be a student of the industry – work with OEM’s and vendors on new technology to provide a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Promote a “sales” mindset among the operations staff. Every member of the Division should be looking for revenue generating opportunities.

Job Requirements:
A business-related or technical bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred, but not required.
Working knowledge of basic AC and DC electrical/electronic theory.
Demonstrated financial success as a manager, with 10+ years of management experience.
High energy and positive attitude.
Possess strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to clearly articulate ideas (both written and verbal) to both internal and external customers and to listen effectively to customer and technician needs.
Able to develop and maintain strong workplace relationships with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
Able to work collaboratively with other departments to further our interests.
Able to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
Able to set reasonable and attainable service goals in a variety of markets.
Able to sustain a significant travel commitment in the territory.
