Job Title: Western Regional Sales Manager -- Industrial
Our client is an award-winning manufacturer of premium quality power conversion products located in United States. In business for over 50 years, they are the market leader with a proven track record of providing highly reliable battery chargers, DC power systems, and related products to industrial markets.
Position Summary:This position is vital to the overall success of our sales organization. The selected individual will be responsible for the development and overall growth of revenue & market share within a multi-state territory. In addition to direct sales calls on assigned OEMs, specifying engineers, and end user accounts this individual will work with manufacturer’s representatives, value added resellers and distributors as the territory channel requirements dictate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain business with prospects and customers, both directly and indirectly (through assigned manufacturing representatives)
Develop and maintain high value sales prospecting lists in assigned territory for all assigned markets.
Set annual objectives and consistently deliver beyond expectations.
Support direct customers and manufacturing representatives by assimilating RFQs, pre-qualifying to match our core competencies and responding with high value quotations.
Follow up on quotes and ensure focus on closing business.
Review new orders for accuracy and submit complete and correct orders to factory.
Identify the need for additional resources and manufacturing representatives.
Perform lunch & learns and make product presentation to customers, prospective customers, and A&E firms.
Leverage local and national trade shows to identify new leads and solidify current customer/partner relationships.
Submit sales reports as required.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a technical discipline)
Minimum five years of successful technical indirect and/or direct sales experience
Demonstrated relevant experience in DC Power Field, Battery Chargers, Industrial Batteries a plus.
Understanding of engineering (electrical/electronic) principles as related to products a plus
Prior experience in preparing technical response to industrial RFQ’s.
Hubspot or other CRM expertise preferred.
History of being a self-starter able to work independently with little supervision.
Work Environment/ Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Capable of multi-tasking. Capable and willing to travel a minimum of 50%. Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds. Must be flexible to work additional hours from time to time if required to do so.
